The Plainsboro Rescue Squad (PRS) is a 501(c)(3) charitable entity and is funded entirely by voluntary contributions from individuals and organizations. Everything from the ambulances, to uniforms, bandages and medical oxygen is paid for by donations and charitable grants. The Township's paid crew, Plainsboro Township EMS, uses our equipment weekdays from 6:00am to 6:00pm and makes a financial contribution to PRS for that usage.

Download the Cadet Program details and application form [here.] It is vital for our community to have emergency medical services. In New Jersey suburbs and rural areas EMS is provided by volunteers. Our volunteer members enjoy the personal challenges, the camaraderie, and the opportunity to serve others. Cadet members are for the most part treated as adult peers and they enjoy the same benefits as the adult members.

Plainsboro Township operates a food pantry, to help those in need in Plainsboro. The Plainsboro Rescue Squad has volunteered to help with the pick-up and delivery of larger donations if the donor cannot bring it to the township building for whatever reason.
